Mother's Day

This cake was ordered by a husband for his wife on Mother's Day. She is from California and loves to shop so we tried to incorporate all those details into the cake. The trees are made out of rice krispie treats and fondant, the flip flops are also fondant. Fun cake! Happy Mother's Day to a very deserving Mom!

This newly wed wanted to order a cake for Valentine's Day that was a mini replica of her wedding cake. WHAT A CUTE IDEA!! Seriously, how cute! So she sent me some photo's of her cake and we got to work. It was a ton of fun and one of the most romantic ideas I've ever heard of! Happy Valentine's Day to all you out there in love! :)

Father's Day - Grill

What says "Dad" better than a grill? This was a really fun cake to do! I was a little worried that the fondant hot dogs and cheeseburgers wouldn't turn out well, but I was SO excited when the whole cake came together! Happy Father's Day to all you great dad's out there...and most of all my good hubby. I have to say he's the best out there!

Spring Yet?!

I think this cake was designed in hopes for spring...don't hold your breath. If you are from around here at all you'll know it's a long ways away. :o) Hope it was great!

Haunted "Gingerbread" House

So my attempt at making a scary looking haunted house turned out a little more like a gingerbread house with halloween figures around it. :o) But it was still fun to make, and tasted wonderful (most important!) It was a fudge marble cake with coconut cream cheese frosting in between the layers and fudge frosting on the outside. It was a little rich, but really is there such a thing? :o) Happy birthday Jared, and Happy Halloween Nate Family, GREAT party as always!
