Green and pink must have been the colors of the week! :) This is another version of the princess design. My favorite part ended up being the colors. The others have been a little lighter, so I thought I'd try a little brighter this time. I am glad I did. I hope the birthday girl loved it as much as I did. 
Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE baseball, so I was excited to start on this one! Just a simple in-field with a giant cake baseball in the middle of it. :) What more could you want?! Hope your day was great! Thanks for letting me have fun!
I think this might be the cutest cake design in cowboy history! Not too elaborate, just your down home cowboy items: Cowboy, cowboy hat, rope, handkerchief, cow, and some fence. :) Loved it! Hope you had a Happy Birthday guy! 
This is a topsy turvy version of the princess design. I wasn't sure how I'd make the crown set flat, so I decided to just make the top normal. I think it turned out pretty darn cute! :) I added some colored beads in there to tie in the colors, and to just try something new, love them! This newly wed wanted to order a cake for Valentine's Day that was a mini replica of her wedding cake. WHAT A CUTE IDEA!! Seriously, how cute! So she sent me some photo's of her cake and we got to work. It was a ton of fun and one of the most romantic ideas I've ever heard of! Happy Valentine's Day to all you out there in love! :)
I was a little leery about doing a monster theme because I didn't know how the monsters would actually turn out. The birthday boy's Mom had emailed me some super cute scrapbook paper with these adorable monsters on them that I really wanted to replicate. After all was said and done I am in love with monsters! :) They were so simple, but I really was excited to see how it turned out. I love the bright colors and all the fun designs that we decided to tie in! Happy Birthday Gus! Thanks for opening up my mind! :)
I have seen a few cakes like this and have always wanted to make one....so this weekend I got my chance! A client asked me to do a cake for someone who loved to shop, and I jumped at the chance to try this design out! The box top and the metal embellishments on the purse are the only non edible items on the cake. I was so excited when it was all done. It is definitely my new favorite! Happy Birthday to a wonderful Mom, who is will always be young enough to shop with the best of 'em! :o) Thanks again!
This client ALWAYS orders a challenge. :o) And I have to be honest, I love it. It is a little stressful during the decorating process but so rewarding in the end. This was a cake for an avid flyer. The markings on the cake are similar to the markings on his actual plane. Hope the party was great and the cake was a surprise. :o) Thanks again!!
It was a Spiderman weekend. :o) This is a little more of a traditional design for a Spiderman cake. The gray brick is actually butter cream with a fondant overlay on each tier. The Spiderman is a candle, there wasn't much to choose from here...and the spider webs were made from royal icing. Hope your day was great as well! Thanks for letting me in on the fun!
This isn't a typical Spiderman cake, but I thought it might be fun to do a city scene with the characters. The buildings are made from fondant, the figures are from the store. This is the second cake I've done for this little boy, I love repeat customers! :o) Hope your day was great!
When this cake was ordered I was given colors and a topsy turvy choice to work with. So I had a little fun with the ribbon and added some detail here and there. All in all I think it turned out pretty cute. :o) Hope your birthday was great!!
This cake just might be my masterpiece! The picture is horrible and I might sound a little prideful, but this cake turned out gorgeous! I was SO pleased with it. After 8 hours of cutting each fondant piece by hand, it was a good feeling to have it turn out well and have the bride be so happy with it. I was SO excited to do this cake for my cute cousin! Strawberry Shortcake is one of my most favorite characters of all time!!! Everything Strawberry is made from fondant.
