Krista

If you are from around here this cake will make you smile, I am sure. The colors were John Deere green and yellow, favorites of the bride and groom. I wish I had gotten a picture of their reception, it was SO cute! That night it was snowing like crazy then you walked into this springy atmosphere, it was great! Best of luck to the bride and groom! Thanks for letting me be a part of your day!

Music

This cake was designed for a birthday boy who is a very talented musician. They wanted to keep it simple so we did just that, but added fun angles using the topsy turvy style. So much fun to make! Happy birthday!

Baby Boy Shower

This cake was for a baby boy shower. There wasn't a set theme, but the mom to be said she loves zoo animals. So with that information we made a couple fondant animals and set them on a fondant quilt. Hope the shower went well and good luck with your new little one!

Lightning McQueen

Here is another version of a Lightning McQueen cake. My kids are always so excited to watch these cakes be built. The cars are real, brought by mom to put on the cake, but the "scenery" for the cake is fondant. This was for a very good friend of ours, hope she had a wonderful day!

This cake design was taken from one I did a couple of months ago. This bride chose blue and silver for her colors so we tied both in with the royal icing dots, painted swirls and ribbon. I love the way it turned out. I only wish I took better pictures. :o) Congratulations to the bride and groom. Best wishes to you both!

Jungle Safari

This cake was for a twin baby shower. Loved every single minute of making this one! There are two of each fondant animal, one a boy and one a girl. The palm trees are also made out of fondant. Thanks for letting me have fun! Hope the shower was amazing! Love you all!

Jamie

Another really fun bright cake! I didn't have much time to take pictures, so it isn't a very good one. But if you can see, in between each 4 inch tier there is another smaller foam piece. We used these different foam sizes to tie in all her colors and add just enough height to catch everyone's eye. Very simple, but so beautiful! Thanks so much and congratulations!

Coffin

This was made for someone getting VERY OLD! :o) Or at least her co-workers think so. :o) Rest in Peace Sheila, hope your birthday was to die for. :o)

This bride went with the popular calligraphy swirls in pink, blue, and purple. It was a very fun cake, very bright. Especially with this fun Idaho weather we get this time of year it is fun to have some bright colors to work with. Congratulations!

Sewing Basket

This cake was SO much fun to do! It was made in honor of a Grandmother's birthday. She loves sewing so the family thought it would be fitting to use that as a theme. All the accessories are made from fondant except the crochet hook and the pins. Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your day! Happy birthday!

Drafting Table

You all have to know that since I can remember, I wanted to be an architect. Seriously, I draw plans ALL the time, so when I got a call to do a cake for an architect student on campus I was THRILLED! I even used one of my own plans....on fondant of course. So sweet! :o) The tools were also fondant except the pencil, just thought I'd throw in a little gift for the birthday boy. I had SO much fun with this cake! Happy Birthday Jeff, hope your room mates shared! :o)

Zebra

This cake was for a baby shower....such a fun theme! I hadn't done zebra print on a cake yet so that was a lot of fun. My favorite part though was the fondant zebra himself. I LOVE making these figures! I hope the shower went well! Best of luck with your new addition!

There is something magical about Fall....and to add a wedding to it, just tops it all off. This bride knew exactly what she wanted and it turned out beautiful! The branches and leaves are all made from fondant. The berries were a store bought addition. I loved, loved, loved everything about this cake! And the reception was absolutely gorgeous. My favorite so far! :o) Good luck to the happy couple, it was so nice to meet you both!

Anne

This was a really fun, unique cake. Both the bride and groom wanted something a little less traditional and found a cake similar to this that they loved. The base is a flower shape with the other tiers round. There are icing beaded scallops to add just another unique touch. The reception was beautiful, good luck to you in the future!

This cake was made for a birthday and retirement celebration. The birthday girl loves tropical birds and was designed to look like a Tiki Hut bird house. All the additions on the outside are made of fondant, including the parrot and the roof. It made me want to go on a cruise... :o) Such a fun cake. Happy birthday!
