This client ALWAYS orders a challenge. :o) And I have to be honest, I love it. It is a little stressful during the decorating process but so rewarding in the end. This was a cake for an avid flyer. The markings on the cake are similar to the markings on his actual plane. Hope the party was great and the cake was a surprise. :o) Thanks again!!
It was a Spiderman weekend. :o) This is a little more of a traditional design for a Spiderman cake. The gray brick is actually butter cream with a fondant overlay on each tier. The Spiderman is a candle, there wasn't much to choose from here...and the spider webs were made from royal icing. Hope your day was great as well! Thanks for letting me in on the fun!
This isn't a typical Spiderman cake, but I thought it might be fun to do a city scene with the characters. The buildings are made from fondant, the figures are from the store. This is the second cake I've done for this little boy, I love repeat customers! :o) Hope your day was great!
When this cake was ordered I was given colors and a topsy turvy choice to work with. So I had a little fun with the ribbon and added some detail here and there. All in all I think it turned out pretty cute. :o) Hope your birthday was great!!
This cake just might be my masterpiece! The picture is horrible and I might sound a little prideful, but this cake turned out gorgeous! I was SO pleased with it. After 8 hours of cutting each fondant piece by hand, it was a good feeling to have it turn out well and have the bride be so happy with it. I was SO excited to do this cake for my cute cousin! Strawberry Shortcake is one of my most favorite characters of all time!!! Everything Strawberry is made from fondant.
