Wedding cakes are getting less and less traditional it seems like. But I love it! :) This cake was so fun and different. The bride wanted something unique and classy. I think she got both with this cake. What a gorgeous day to get married!! Congrats! :)

Funky Baby Shower

This was a last minute cake order that I was very glad to have done. It turned out so fun I think! The client just wanted something funky and bright. I hope she was satisfied. Congrats to the Mommy to be! Thanks for thinking of me for your event!

This bride and groom had such fun personalities! After a few different theme ideas they chose to go simple and fun. We used various shades of peacock blue for the cake. On top the couple wanted their fondant selves sitting together. I thought the cake turned out to be so much fun. Thanks for letting me be a part of your day!! Congrats!

Tenille

This cake is my new masterpeice. As it should be! After almost 18 hours of decorating this baby was done. I love EVERYTHING about this cake! Everything! The bride was stunning, the reception was unbeliveably adorable, and I hope the bride thought the cake blended well with it all. So, so happy about this cake! Thanks so much for the challenge! Best of luck to the newly weds!!

This color of blue has will be seen a lot in the next few posts. Definitely a summer blue! This cake was done as a donation for a silent auction.

This is the first cake I've done that all the tiers were 6 inches tall. I was a little nervous about it, but am SO happy with how it turned out! I love the height. It totally changes the look of the cake. Little white flowers with hot pink centers drape over the sides of the tiers. Love, love this cake! Best of luck to the happy couple!

Ice Cream Cake?

This birthday girl was having an ice cream themed party. I was SO excited to do this cake, so many fun ideas!! On the sides I did rice krispie ice cream cones, and on the top a sundae made with rice krispie ice cream scoops. So minus the corkscrew wire and the ice cream dish, this cake is totally edible! SO much fun! Happy Birthday Taylin!

Triplets!

I have an incredible neighbor who is a lucky Mom to three adorable little boys. These cakes were for their 2nd birthdays. And yes, their names do start with "A" "B" and "C". :) Seriously they are the cutest triplets ever! I hope they loved the cake, thanks for asking me to help!!

This cake was little larger than I usually do for a two tiered cake, but for a very good reason. I didn't get a picture of the cake top, but it was of a bride pulling a groom away from a snowmobile! Hilarious and perfect for this couple. The wedding was gorgeous and so was the bride and groom! Congrats to you!!

Lynette

This cake was designed by a very easy to please bride. :) She wanted something simple but elegant. We chose to use two of her colors, ivory and burgundy on the cake. The calligraphy swirls were done in a shade or two darker ivory. I think it turned out beautiful. I would have loved to see it with the flowers on it in the end. Congrats to a very lucky couple!

Pink Zebra

This was a cake designed for a sweet heart turning "1"! They wanted to do the same design as the Yellow Zebra cake done a few months ago, except use pink instead of yellow. I think the zebra fondant animals are beginning to be my favorites. :) Happy Birthday Kynlie!

I absolutely love doing damask cakes, even though it takes to long to hand cut the designs. I think they just turn out so elegant looking. Thin hot pink and black ribbon were placed at the base of each tier to tie in the colors. So, so happy with the way this cake turned out! Thank you so much for thinking of me on your big day! Best of luck to the bride and groom!!

Sweet 16 Topsy Turvy

It is so much fun to do repeat cakes for clients. I can't believe a year has gone by since this birthday girl's last cake!! I hope the day was as wonderful as she is! Happy Sweet 16!!!

I absolutely LOVE this cake!!! The ivory lace, fondant flowers contrasted so well with the candy apple red fondant on the cake. The bride added a little bit of brown with the ribbon at the base of each tier to tie all her colors together. So glad I got to be a part of this day! Congrats to the newly weds!!

Pink Castle

This is my daughter's 5th birthday cake. She was undecided about what she wanted until she saw the cake on the previous post. So we hurried and threw together a castle for her. The towers are all made from rice krispie treats. The tiers are all cake. The best part of my job falls on my children's birthdays and we get to spend time together making their cake. Love you so much Lexi!!! Can't believe you are 5!!

This cake was designed as an open house, pre wedding party cake. The base of the cake is a replica of the castle they got married in, in Boise. Then around the castle the bride wanted something fun that would reflect both hers and his personalities. So fondant figures were made and placed all around the castle so they were both represented. I am so happy with the way it turned out, and her face was the best pay off! :) Best of luck to you in the future!!

Allison

This bride was so classy and simple. I think her cake matched her completely. She wanted some texture for the cake so we did the quilted pattern on the tiers. I wish I could have seen the cake after the flowers were put on later. The top and middle tier are real cake, so she could serve her family who would be staying later to the reception. Best of luck to you! Thanks!

Susan

The design for this cake was inspired by Erin's cake done earlier in the year. The tiers were turned slightly to add some dimension along with the six petal sugar flowers. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Sesame Street

I was so excited to start this cake! Sesame Street was the theme, with the baby characters. I had so much fun doing the little fondant characters, especially Cookie Monster. :) Happy Birthday!!

Graduation Suitcase

This was also done for a graduate in Wyoming. Her Mom wanted a "leaving for college" theme for the cake. So we put a suitcase, purse, and a gift bag on the board. Best of luck to you Sim!
