Go Steelers

This cake was a surprise for my Uncle Danny who was headed my way for a couple of days.  I never see him on his birthday, so I figured I'd surprise him with a cake to make up for the missed ones.  He is a HUGE Steelers fan!!  It is fun to try all the logo's, and I think he was happy with it.  It was so fun to see him!  Happy Un-Birthday!

This cake is for my son who just turned 8!  He was VERY specific in what he wanted....fondant lego Star Wars figures.  I have to be honest, I've never watched a single movie, so this one was a little tough.  The look on his face said it all though, I passed. :)  Happy Birthday to a boy who has changed my life forever. :)  Love you D!

Aspyn - 12

This birthday girl has had a few cakes from me....it is so fun to see what design we come up with each year.  This year she turned 12 and had a religious, young women value color theme.  Each of the colors represents a different value in the program.  Happy Birthday!

This cake was a surprise ordered by a boyfriend for his girl friend.  I know, I know, you don't believe it.  But it's true!  He even came up with the idea to put a few fondant figures on the top that represented different times in their dating life.  I am happy to add that they are now engaged!!! :)  Can't wait to post their wedding cake this fall!  Love you both!

Happy Birthday to a boy who I have rarely seen inside the house! :)  This was a lot of fun to do.  I am sure my favorite part was the frog though.  I may try and hide one on each cake from now on!

I love trying new twists on previous designs.  I also love new cake tools, which I got to use with this cake.  I hope the birthday boy was happy with his cake.  So fun to see clients and their kids yearly.  Happy Birthday Porter!
