Pink and brown are definitely the most popular colors right now I'd say. This cake combines those colors, round and square cakes, and a bow to top it all off. This was made for one of my cute cousins. Happy Birthday!

Little girls can be sweet and also love basketball right?! The cake was made with her favorite colors, pink and lime green to show the birthday girl's sweet side. Then it was topped with a foam ball covered in fondant to make the basketball. At the bottom, white and lime green jersey's have basketball sayings on them, this represented her competitive basketball side. The party looked like a lot of fun, hope it was!

I've said before that a wedding cake describes a bride's personality a lot, and this one does too. Simple and elegant all at the same time. This birthday girl would have loved nothing more than to be in Hawaii for her birthday instead of stuck in the snow. She didn't want too big of a cake, so we did it pretty simple. I hope the bright colors helped out and made her smile. If it could only be sunny everywhere?! Happy birthday DW!

This cake was made for a Corvette lover. That alone made me a little nervous about doing this sort of a cake. As always though I do like the stress of a challenge. My three year old said it looked like Lightning McQueen...so at least it looks like a car right? :o) I had a lot of fun doing it, and I hope the man of the day enjoyed a fun twist on a birthday cake!
